Wolfratshausen – The internationally active WEBER Group is expanding with a new subsidiary in Mexico. Until now, the Mexican market has been served by WEBER Screwdriving Systems Inc. Going forward, all sales and service activities of the WEBER Group for the Central American region will be consolidated under the new company based in Monterrey. The newly established WEBER AUTOMATIZACIÓN MÉXICO, S. DE R.L. DE C.V. is a 100% subsidiary of WEBER Schraubautomaten GmbH, headquartered in Wolfratshausen.
Alejandro Castillo will remain the regional contact; he has previously coordinated customer support in Mexico as Regional Sales Manager. For local partners, collaboration with WEBER will continue seamlessly with the same personnel, but the proximity of the new Monterrey location will significantly reduce response times.
Dirk Winter, Director of Global Sales at WEBER, stated:
“Digitalization already allows us to handle projects with our customers online and in real time. However, consulting and support during the commissioning of machines and systems are particularly efficient and successful when our company is physically closer to the customers, enabling us to solve problems quickly and personally. I am delighted that the WEBER Group now has its own subsidiary in the region, making it present in the thriving markets of Mexico and neighboring regions.”

The new subsidiary will present itself to industry professionals at the “Expo Manufactura” trade fair, which will take place in early February in Monterrey, Mexico, and will have its own booth at the event.

Winter: “With the new subsidiary, we are seamlessly building on our existing business and, through our presentation in Monterrey, we aim to attract new customers in the region in and around Mexico. This will enable us to better meet the needs of the Mexican market and operate more effectively in our day-to-day business. I anticipate a significant increase in our market penetration in the coming years.”

We are happy to help you!
